I am glad to be able to inform Your Lordship that although sufficient time has not elapsed to permit of an accurate estimate of the work done by the professional clerk lately appointed to the Land Registry, his taking charge of the Land services (as I am informed) has so far proved extremely valuable, and considerable improvement has already taken place in the method of work in this Department.
I have the honour to be,
Your Lordship's Most Obedient Humble Servant,
W.M. Bowen
